skos:example | An example of applying the Istanbul Convention is when a company based in the European Union wants to showcase their products at an international trade fair in a non-EU country. By utilizing the provisions of the convention, the company can temporarily export their goods to the trade fair without paying import duties or taxes. This allows them to promote their products, explore new markets, and potentially secure business opportunities without incurring additional costs or administrative burdens. |
