Description: EU Localisation Framework compliance refers to digital public services being compliant and implementing the INSPIRE directive and the different requirements stated in the regulation. Additional information: The EU Localisation Framework concept consists of a package of case studies, specifications, guidelines, training materials, recommendations and actions required by public administrations and stakeholder communities to facilitate the implementation, use and expansion of INSPIRE in an e-government context. The INSPIRE Directive aims to create a European Union spatial data infrastructure for the purposes of EU environmental policies and policies or activities which may have an impact on the environment. This European Spatial Data Infrastructure will enable the sharing of environmental spatial information among public sector organisations, facilitate public access to spatial information across Europe and assist in policy-making across boundaries.
