Therefore, it is relevant to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of public services. For this reason, public administration has the duty of evaluating and ensuring that the resources are dedicated to the implementation and delivery of digital public services that are aligned with public policies and their objectives. In addition to the alignment of digital public services with public policies goal, there is the need to assess the efficiency of the service and the elements involved, to ensure that the investment done is proportionate to the societal needs and the relevance and value the service provides The European Interoperability Framework is part of the Communication (COM(2017)134) from the European Commission adopted on 23 March 2017.
