NARRATIVE:
The OV-Guarantee [Motivation] view extends the Organisational view and provides a comprehensive framework for leveraging the Guarantee diagram model-group ABB. This model-group is composed of several elements, each with a specific role and purpose.
The first element is the Guarantee capability SBB, which is described as the Guarantee (DBC). This capability is the core of the model-group and serves as the primary function that the other elements revolve around.
The model-group also includes several business services ABBs, each providing a unique service. These services include the determination of the economic value of goods declared for importation, customs declarations, EU customs information exchange, goods flow analysis and simulations, duties calculation and payment, and duties guarantee management. Each of these services is a digital public service, indicating that they are provided electronically to the public.
In addition to these services, the model-group also contains several business object ABBs, which represent various types of information. These include imports information, exports information, economic value information, guarantee information, origin of goods information, and duties calculation information. These business objects serve as the data that the business services use to perform their functions.
The relationships between these elements are crucial to the functioning of the Guarantee model-group. The Guarantee capability SBB is the central element that the other elements revolve around. The business services use the business objects as data to perform their functions. For example, the duties calculation and payment service might use the duties calculation information to calculate the duties owed on an import. Similarly, the determination of the economic value of goods declared for importation service might use the economic value information to determine the value of the goods.
The motivation behind this model-group is to provide a comprehensive framework for managing guarantees. By having a clear structure and defined roles for each element, the model-group can effectively manage guarantees and ensure that all necessary services are provided.
